About

Any individual, association, or company in India seeking to receive foreign contributions or donations must first secure registration under Section 11 of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (FCRA) from the Central Government. In cases where registration has not been obtained, foreign contributions may only be accepted after receiving prior approval from the Central Government. The entire process of registration and regulation under the FCRA is overseen by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
