This new order pertains to the mandatory submission of a Closure Report for licenses or registrations that have expired during FY 2024\u201325<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><strong>What Is the New Requirement?<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p><p>If your FSSAI Registration, State License, or Central License expired in the current financial year (2024\u201325), you are now required to file a Closure Report with FSSAI.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><strong>Who All are Required to make compliances?<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p><p>This rule applies to:<br \/>1. Small food businesses<br \/>2. Medium enterprises<br \/>3. Large-scale manufacturers or distributors<br \/>4. Anyone holding an FSSAI number that has expired<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><strong>How To File Closure Report?<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p><p>Filing of Report: Through the FSSAI Compliance System (FoSCoS) Portal<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><strong>What is the Penalty of Non Compliances?<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p><p>Penalty: If any FBO operating the Food Business on expired FSSAI License\/ Registartion shall be treated as violation u\/s 31of FSSAI Act, 2006 and shall be leviable for penalty upto Rs 10 Lakhs<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><strong>How We will get Update on This Compliance Requirement?<\/strong><\/em><\/span><br \/>The FSSAI Authority are sent the emails regarding the &#8220;Notice ofr Closure of Food Business&#8221; upon the Expiry of the FSSAI License\/ Registration<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><em>What Should the Closure Report Include?<\/em><\/strong><\/span><br \/>FBOs must clearly indicate one of the following in their report:<\/p><p>1. That no food business activity is being conducted at the premises after license expiry<br \/>2. Whether a new FSSAI license has been obtained (with reference number)<br \/>3.
