OSP LICENSE

Other Service Providers (OSP) LICENSE is issued by the Department of Telecommunications, such as tele-banking, tele-trading, tele-medicine; e-commerce etc will be allowed to operate by using infrastructure provided by various access providers for non-telecom services.

Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Services Call Centres, Customer Care, Telemarketing & Technical Support Services Data Entry, Processing, Accounting Outsourcing Service Payroll Management & Administration Services are required to take OSP License.

Once a OSP Registration is approved, the license is valid for a period of 20 years – unless otherwise expressly mentioned.

DOMESTIC OSP LICENSE: ‘Domestic OSP’ means the OSP providing Application Services within national boundaries.

INTERNATIONAL OSP LICENSE: ‘International OSP’ means the OSP providing Application Services beyond national boundaries.

• Sharing of Common infrastructure.
• Network operation Center.
• Tele-Banking.
• Tele-medicine.
• Tele-trading.

• Vehicle tracking system.
• Long range alarm system.
• Bill Payment Terminal.

FEES

Fees for DOMESTIC OSP LICENSE –Govt.  Fees of Rs.1000

Fees for INTERNATIONAL OSP LICENSE –Govt.  Fees of Rs.1000

TIME INVOLVED

30-45 days in case of OSP License.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR OSP LICENSE-

1. Self attested Copy of PAN Cardof all the Proposed Directors.
2. Self attested Copy of ADDRESS PROOFof all the Proposed Directors.
3. Duly signed Affidavits as required by the Department.
4. Copy of Current Electricity Bill / Water Bill / House TaxEtc for the     Premises Proposed to be used.
5. If the Property is Rented, then Rent Agreement.
6. Copy of Certificate of Incorporation of the Company.
7. MOA and AOA of the Company.
8. Sitting Plan.

PROCESS

1. Documents Preparation.
2. Signing of Documents.
3. Online Filing of Application Form with Department.
4. Proper file is to be physically submitted with department.
5. Verification of Documents by Department.
6. License issued by department on ground of full Satisfaction.
7. Hard Copy of License dispatched by the department at the given OSP address.
